Three Triptychs by Contemporary Artists

April 8-15, 1942

Overview: 3 triptychs were selected by the Citizens Committee for the Army and Navy, Inc. Themes reflected religious viewpoints: a Hebrew triptych had been created by Meiere and Ross, a Catholic one by Nina Barr Wheeler, and a Protestant one by Ethel Parsons Paulling. The works were eventually to be presented to the chapel at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.

Location: Ground Floor, Gallery G-8
