The Geospatial Service and Technology Center (GSTC) is a U.S.Department of Agriculture-Forest Service facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Co-located with the Remote Sensing Applications Center, the two centers provide the Forest Service with a range of geographic information products and related technical and training services.

GSTC Products include:

Cartographic Feature Files
Digital Elevation Models
Digital Orthophoto Quads
Softcopy Primary Base Series maps (raster map images)
Hardcopy Primary and Secondary Base Series maps

Services include:

Geographic information systems (GIS) technical support
Applications and techniques development
Data clearinghouse functions at http//:fsgeodata.fs.fed.us
Training and technology transfer

This suite of products and services provides the Forest Service with the geospatial foundation needed for effective use of GIS and related geospatial technologies. GSTC programs are closely coordinated with other Forest Service units and federal agencies engaged in geospatial activities.
