The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has established the Office of Regulation Policy and Management to assume responsibility for managing VA rulemaking activities. The following provisions describe how that office might help ensure that proper consideration is given to the impact that VA regulations might have on small businesses and other small organizations. The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) will work closely with the regulation managers to ensure small business programs remain an important part of VA's business and acquisitions strategies.
