Clockwise from upper left: Elk - Annie Garith, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Cribwall and seeded slope - Larry Ogg, US Forest Service, Handful of seeds - Vicky Erickson, US Forest Service, Decommissioned road - Bill Shelmerdine, US Forest Service

Check out the link below for a new source of information on native plant collection, propagation, and use. Although the notebook was developed by Laura Potash (Martin) and Carol Aubry for the Olympic NF, it contains information that is broadly applicable across the region.

For example: best plant materials and plant movement guidelines, road decommissioning and roadside treatments, species recommendations for wildlife forage, invasive plant treatments, and mulch and fertilizer information.

The appendices include sample forms, contracts, survey results, and recommendations from the Native Seed Network and other supporting materials.

Note: Please honor copyrighted material that was contributed to this notebook - if you want to use those photos or illustrations for another purpose please contact the reference acknowledged in the text.
