tropical updateUPDATE BY: Jim Williams... As we kick off 2009 there will be some more changes to the website. If you look at the map below you will notice radar rings around the Cayman Islands. These rings will be placed over any featured city or Island and will become clickable to local cams, radars, history & so on. This has to be done in order to lighten the work load of the site when the next storm threatens. I think the website will be more user friendly by eliminating all of those links to the featured city by making them clickable off of the map. Here is what the typical clicked page will look like if Antigua was featured,I welcome your feedback. I had my annual hurricane season wrap up show on November 30th as I discussed each named storm showing some video as well as passing along some interesting stats . Archive subscribers can access the 2hr 40 min show with the username & password they signed up with. On a side note I did not do too well on my weekly predictions this year with 58.45% accuracy, but I did predict my top area to be affected in 2008 St Martin which was affected by Hurricane Omar. This marks the sixth year in a row where one of my high risk cities or islands had a named storm affect them, you can see my predictions here
