Catastrophic damage from Hurricane Ike has resulted in an extraordinary demand for housing assistance in Orange County, Texas. FEMA proposes to provide temporary housing for eligible disaster victims under its Individual and Households Program. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to analyze the potential environmental impacts of a proposed temporary community housing site at Longhorn Motocross.
