The Port of Texas City has applied for FEMA funding to construct a secure railcar staging area for railcars containing hazardous materials within a heavily industrialized area of the port. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the human and natural environment.
