TTB Selects New Chief For International Trade Division

Washington, D.C. - The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has announced the selection of Gail H. Davis to be the new Chief, International Trade Division. Ms. Davis is a 15-year veteran of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) where she most recently served as the Chief, Public Safety Branch with responsibility for the administration of Federal Explosives Law as it relates to the safe and secure distribution and storage of explosive materials in the United States. Ms. Davis's career with ATF included practical experience in the development of alcohol and tobacco regulations as a specialist in the Distilled Spirits & Tobacco Branch. Additional positions included tenures in the ATF Office of Public Information and the Office of Legislative Affairs where Ms. Davis worked directly on issues affecting the alcohol and tobacco industries. Prior to assuming the helm of the Public Safety Branch, Ms. Davis was Chief of Staff for the Office of Science and Technology for ATF. Ms. Davis is a 1987 graduate of the University of Michigan where she received a B.A. in Spanish. Ms. Davis and her husband reside in Arlington, Virginia.
