Proposal to Establish San Bernabe Viticultural Area and Realign San Lucas Area

Washington, D.C. - The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau issued a notice of proposed rulemaking in the Federal Register on May 14, 2003, proposing the establishment of the San Bernabe viticultural area and the realignment of the adjacent San Lucas viticultural area. Both viticultural areas exist entirely within the Central Coast and Monterey viticultural areas in Monterey County, California.

Written comments must be received on or before July 14, 2003.
