Reopening of Comment Period Involving Organic Claims in Labeling and Advertising of Alcohol Beverages

Washington, DC - The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is reopening the comment period for Notice of Proposed Rulemaking No. 954, Organic Claims in Labeling and Advertising of Alcohol Beverages, published in the Federal Register on October 8, 2002. TTB is acting on a request from the Wine Institute to allow additional time to work with USDA representatives on labeling issues as they apply to wine.

Written comments must be received on or before June, 23, 2003.
