Promotion
The goal of the campaign, Infection: Don’t Pass
It On, is to involve staff, patients, and visitors
in preventing infection and preparing the VA medical
system for infectious disease emergencies, both
natural and manmade. The tools and resources below
can facilitate and be used to promote and support
campaign messages.
Tools
Here are some tools that can be used to promote the
Infection: Don't Pass It On campaign. Additional tools are under development.
Campaign Publicity and Education
It may be useful to explore some of the articles and
writings about the campaign for possible use in
local, facility or VISN newsletters or other
promotional media resources. You may also want to
prepare presentations for trainings or education
classes on the importance of PPE or hand and
respiratory hygiene. Here are some samples you may
