Transition to Electronic Submission
The Office of Research and Development (ORD) is developing procedures for electronic submission and
review of research proposals for all Research & Development Services (Biomedical Laboratory, Clinical
Science, Health Services, and Rehabilitation). This process will involve submission of proposals
through Grants.gov, followed by processing and review using NIH's eRA Commons/IMPACII systems.
New funding announcements (RFAs and Program Announcements) with specific instructions for
electronic submission will be posted on the Intranet site as they are approved. Existing
RFA's and Program Announcements will be reposted on the Intranet site as they are updated
for electronic submission. Please refer to the VA ORD Intranet site for further details,
