Commissioner Wellinghoff's statement on U.S. Senate confirmation to a second term
"I am honored and pleased to have the opportunity to continue serving at FERC at a time when our nation and the world are facing unprecedented challenges to both stabilize energy costs for consumers and minimize environmental impacts of expanding energy use. I wish to thank Senator Reid and President Bush, and Chairman Bingaman and Senator Domenici, for their support. I look forward to continuing to work at FERC to meet the energy challenges of our time."
