Recreation ActivitiesBeardsley ReservoirBeardsley Reservoir is operated by the Tri-Dam Project. The reservoir is located in a steep rocky canyon of the Middle Fork Stanislaus River approximately 5 miles downstream from Donnell Reservoir, 7 miles from Highway 108 on Beardsley Road. Beardsley Road is a steep and winding paved route where safe travel speeds average 20-30 mph or less. Developed recreation facilities exist at the reservoir which is popular for camping, day use and fishing. The reservoir is open all year with road access subject to winter closure.
