Organization of Center Staff


The top level of the Center's organizational chart is the Director's Office, headed by Margaret Davidson (Director) and Jeff Payne (Deputy Director).

The second level is made up of five branches: Coastal Management Services, Coastal Information and Application Services, Coastal Geospatial Services, Management and Budget, and Regional Services.

The Coastal Management Services Branch, headed by Ginger Hinchcliff (Branch Chief), is comprised of Coastal Learning Services (headed by Steve Gilbert), Communications (headed by Donna McCaskill), and Human Dimensions (headed by Tricia Ryan).

The Coastal Information and Application Services Branch, headed by Tony LaVoi (Branch Chief), is comprised of Interoperability Standards and Access (headed by Jim Boyd), Application Development Services (headed by Jen Boulware), and Network and Desktop Services (Tony LaVoi, interim head).

The Geospatial Services Branch, headed by Miki Schmidt (Branch Chief), is comprised of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Integration and Development (headed by Cindy Fowler), Coastal Remote Sensing (headed by Steve Raber), and Ecological Applications (Jeff Adkins, interim head).

The Management and Budget Branch, headed by Paul Scholz (Branch Chief), is comprised of Finance (headed by Donna Pender), Planning and Policy Analysis (headed by David Porter), and Acquisition and Facilities (headed by Renee Shaw).

The Regional Coastal Services Branch, under the leadership of Becky Smyth and Jeff Payne, is comprised of Regional Representatives and coordinates with the Pacific Services Center (headed by Bill Thomas), and Gulf Coast Services Center (headed by Todd Davison).
