VA Prosthetics provides specialized quality patient care by furnishing properly prescribed
prosthetic equipment, sensory aids and devices in the most economical and timely manner
in accordance with authorizing laws, regulations and policies. Serves as the pharmacy for
assistive aids and as case manager for prosthetic equipment needs of the disabled veteran.
Serves as the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office advocate for a core population of veterans with special needs
for prosthetic equipment, devices and sensory aids.

Our relationship with clinicians and allied health care professionals will be defined by their desire and ability to strengthen our relationship with the veterans who need and use our prosthetic appliances, sensory aids, medical equipment and medical supplies.
