Dearest -

So Rema remembers when her daddy used to give her see-saws on his chest & back! It's pleasing to know she has ^not forgotten me & will be on hand the day I return home. I'll bet Ada won't recognize her own apartment after Rema has been there for several weeks; she better hide all those bric-a-bracs.

I was mystified about the "party" you reffered to until I realized today is Halloween. Did you & Rema go to it, after all?

Sorry to hear about Martin's illness. I hope he's back on his feet by the time this reaches you. Did the rest of the Dorchester family recover from their last siege of sickness? The last I heard was that Helen was awaiting entry into the hopsital & Mark was coming out--something like that.
