As part of the ongoing Willow Creek Bridge Widening Project that Caltrans is currently working on, the immediate entrance to the East Fork Campground gate will be inaccessible. Due to safety and access concerns with construction equipment near the campground entrance, it will be necessary to close the campground while the work is being completed. Caltrans is sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. All campers will need to vacate campsites by 11 am on Sunday, August 8th. The campground will reopen on Saturday, August 28th.

The next nearest campground is Boise Creek, approximately three miles east of East Fork. Seventeen sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. The nightly fee is $8/site. Trailers up to 35 feet in length can be accommodated in some sites. A new water system is being installed so water is currently not available at the campground.

“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We hope you will return to camp at East Fork Campground when it reopens,” said Recreation Staff Officer Jean Hawthorne. If you need additional information, please contact the Lower Trinity Ranger District at 530-629-2118.
