News Release: Date Change For Forest Service Vehicle/Equipment Internet Sale

The U.S. Forest Service will be selling surplus vehicles and equipment by public internet auction. The California forests will be selling 102 items, including trucks, forklift, and miscellaneous equipment to the highest internet bidder. Beginning November 7th, bid items will be available on the GSA website: www.gsaauctions.gov. Nothing will be available to the public until this date. Internet bidding will begin on November 7th thru November 14th until the posted deadline time, Central Standard Time.

On the GSA website, type in sale number 91QSCI09021 in the "Enter Search Text" box. Only Forest Service items will be displayed. With each item of this search there is an assigned number, description, photos(s), and a contact name and number if further inquiry is needed.

Bidders are cautioned to be sure to view the "Terms and Conditions" (in the blue tool bar at the top of the page), for all requirements regarding registering, bidding, payment, warranties, and removal of successfully bid items.

Internet sale vehicles and equipment are available for public viewing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily starting Friday, November 7th (excluding the November 11th holiday and the weekend) thru Thursday, November 13th.
