Bear Creek

[Photograph]: Two tents.Located 15 miles north of Upper Lake on County Road 301 (Forest Road M-1), and 8 miles east on Forest Road M-10. Facilities: 16 tables, 16 stoves and 1 toilet. Fishing. Elevation 2,000 feet. Creek water only, bring drinking water. Open year round. Closed when creek is to high to ford. No garbage service provided. FEE: $0

Deer Valley

Located 12 miles north of Upper Lake on County Road 301 (Forest Road M-1), and 4 miles east on Forest Road 16N01. Facilities: l3 tables, l3 stoves, 1 toilet, and trailer space. Elevation 3,700 feet. Open year round. Dry camp, bring water. No garbage service provided. FEE: $6.00

Lower Nye

Located 15 miles north of Upper Lake on County Road 301 (Forest Road M-1), and 7 miles east on Forest Road M-10, 14 miles north on Forest Road 18N04. Facilities: 6 tables, 6 stoves, 1 toilet and 6 pedestal grills. Elevation 3,300 feet. Open year round but not accessible when creek is to high to ford. Dry camp, bring water. No garbage services. FEE: $0

Middle Creek

Located 8 miles north of Upper Lake on County Road 301 (Forest Road M-1). Facilities: 23 campsites (two are group sites), 26 tables, 23 upright pedestal grills, 23 fire rings, 3 toilets, trailer space, gravity water system. One equestrian staging area (no camping). Elevation 2,000 feet. Open year-round. (Note: Former picnic area has been absorbed into campground.) FEE: $8.00 per camp unit plus $2.00 per additional vehicle per night. Limit two vehicles per camp unit.

Pine Point Picnic Area

There are 5 tables, 1 toilet and no water. Open year-round. No over night camping. FEE: $0

Lake Pillsbury

* The following campgrounds at Lake Pillsbury are now being operated and maintained by Pacific Gas and Electric. All of the campgrounds at Lake Pillsbury are open from May to September, except Oak Flat which is open all year. Lake Pillsbury campsites are designated for up to 2 vehicles each (there is a fee for additional vehicles) and a maximum of 6 people. The vault toilets are a modern no-odor type. In addition to the sites described below, there is a no-charge overflow site at Oak Flat. Camping is on a first come, first served basis, with no reservations.

Location: 6 miles north of Ukiah on US 101, 5 miles east on California Highway 20, 26 miles northwest on County Road 240 (Potter Valley-Lake Pillsbury Road). Also, accessible through Upper Lake traveling 31 miles north on County Road 301 (Forest Road M-1). Elevation 1,850. *Sunset Facilities

54 tables, pressure water systems, 54 stoves, 12 toilets, trailer space and 27 pedestal grills. Nature trail directly across from campground. Boat launching ramp nearby; two resorts in area, one at lake. FEE: $13.00 per camp unit plus $3.00 per additional vehicle and $1.00 per pet per night.

*Pogie Point Facilities

50 tables, 50 stoves, 4 toilets, gravity water system, trailer space. Elevation 1,900 feet. FEE $13.00 per camp unit plus $3.00 per additional vehicle and $1.00 per pet per night.

*Oak Flat

Used as an overflow camp on heavy weekends. Facilities: 12 tables, 12 stoves, 1 toilet and trailer space. Elevation 1,810 feet. No water. FEE: $0

Located next to Gravelly Valley Air Strip. Facilities: 20 campsites, 20 tables, 20 fire rings, and 2 vault toilets. FEE: $13.00 per camp unit plus $3.00 per additional vehicle and $1.00 per pet per night.

*Fuller Grove

Adjacent to Pogie Point campground. Facilities: 30 campsites. 22 feet maximum Recreational Vehicle length, no hookups, vault toilets, tables and fire rings. Boat ramp parking and launching facility is located adjacent to this campground. FEE: $13.00 per camp unit plus $3.00 per additional vehicle and $1.00 per pet per night.

*Fuller Grove Group Camp

Located adjacent to Fuller Boat Ramp. Facilities: 12 tables, 12 fire rings, 1 food storage locker and 1 toilet building. Group camp with capacity of up to 60 people. FEE: $100.00/night $500.00 per week. For reservations call Pacific Gas & Electric at (916) 386-5164.
