Firefighters continue to mop-up the Paradise Fire today. Approximately 56 firefighters are staffing the fire today. This will be the last update for the Paradise Fire.

No evacuations. Buckhorn Canyon (County Road 44 H) has reopened. Due to smokey conditions and firefighters with equipment in the area, caution is urged.

Planned Actions

Firefighters contained the Paradise Fire yesterday evening at 6:00 p.m. Today, Thanksgiving, the fire is staffed with three handcrews and two engines who are mopping up the interior of the fire.
