Disaster Summary for FEMA-1421-DR, Colorado Declaration Date: June 19, 2002 Incident Type: Wildfires Incident Period: April 23, 2002 through August 6, 2002 Designations and Types of Assistance: INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE (Assistance to families and individuals): Adams, Alamosa, Arapahoe, Archuleta, Baca, Bent, Boulder, Broomfield City and County, Chaffee, Cheyenne, Clear Creek, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Delta, Denver City and County, Dolores, Douglas, Eagle, Elbert, El Paso, Fremont, Garfield, Gilpin, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Huerfano, Jackson, Jefferson, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Lake, La Plata, Larimer, Las Animas, Lincoln, Mesa, Mineral, Moffat, Montezuma, Montrose, Otero, Ouray, Park, Pitkin, Pueblo, Rio Blanco, Rio Grande, Routt, Saguache, San Juan, San Miguel, Summit, Teller, Washington, Weld and Yuma Counties and the Southern Ute Reservation and Ute Mountain Reservation. All counties and Indian Reservations in the State of Colorado are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
