2007 Coastal Program Managers' Meeting

Great Lakes 2005 Meeting ParticipantsNOAA's Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management, in partnership with the National Estuarine Research Reserve Association, hosted the annual Ocean and Coastal Program Managers’ Meeting on March 7-9, 2007 in downtown Washington, D.C.

The meeting brought together coastal managers from states, territories, and commonwealths from across the nation and provided them with a forum to discuss emerging issues in ocean and coastal resource management with their federal counterparts. 

Some of the issues discussed included successes and challenges in working with local partners, Perspectives on Climate Change Impacts on Coastal Communities, Insights and Approaches to Reviewing Energy Proposals, Use of Social Science Tools in Coastal Management, and Approaches to Developing Marine Protected Areas.

All available presentations from the 2007 Program Manager's meeting are listed below in the order in which they were presented.
