2008 News Summary for 2008
After a very busy 2007, the FAA UAS Experimental Certification Team began 2008 with a more measured pace. The pace was partly due to applicants not meeting requests for information put forward by the team. One applicant withdrew their request for certification prior to completing the Safety Evaluation, and three other applicants failed to close action items needed for certification.
