airport can have multiple approaches, therefore the total number
of approaches is greater than the total number of airports served. RNAV, as represented in the table above, represents LNAV capability at a minimum, but may also include VNAV and/or LPV capability.

Stand-Alone Approaches Publication Dates for New Procedures New procedures are published for use in the National Airspace System (NAS) every 56 days through the Terminal Procedures Publication (TPP) process. However, procedures can also be published during the interim months through the Operations Change Notice (OCN) process. Corresponding dates for 2009 are:
