Abstract The bibliography contains citations concerning motor vehicle applications for certification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Certification applications are prepared by vehicle manufacturers themselves, who give detailed technical descriptions of the vehicles or engines they intend to market during the upcoming model yeaar. These engineering data include explanations and/or drawings which describe engine/vehicle parameters such as engine design, fuel systems, ignition systems, and exhaust and evaporative emission control systems. Information on emissions test procedures, service accumulation procedures, fuels to be used, and proposed maintenance requirements to be followed during testing is also provided. Citations include the results of emissions testing, a statement of compliance with EPA regulations, production engine parameters, and a Summary Sheet Input Form on which issuance of an EPA Certificate of Conformity is based.
