Return Civics Education to the Schools

When I was growing up, civics was part of my school curriculum. And it was more than just "Our federal government has three branches, and they are Judicial, Legislative, and Executive." We learned why federal government was set up that way.

These days, I find youth to be woefully ignorant about these and other matters of importance to all of us. Let's put civics back into the schools.

I also think that the essential documents of our nation should be easily available to all. For example, why not set up a Constitution.gov website that offers the text of our Constitution, Declaration of Independence, etc.?

A couple of issues with your assertions...

First, as a young person who follows politics very closely, I will tell you that many college-age students know a lot more about the government then most older people.

Also, if you do a quick google search for "constitution" you will get thousands of places to read it. While certainly not a bad idea, it's definitely a moot point.
