St. Charles Public Schools Maintenance and Storage Building

Due to Hurricane Katrina, the maintenance facility of the St. Charles Parish Public School District suffered significant damage. Former St. Charles Public School Maintenance Building. The former structure was deemed eligible for FEMA-funded repairs under the Public Assistance Grant Program. However, the applicant has applied for an improved project to replace the maintenance facility at an alternate site in Luling, an unincorporated community. The proposed scope of work for the replacement includes construction of three maintenance/storage buildings and a parking area. This project is being considered under Alternative Arrangements because it is an improved project that will change the footprint of the facility.
