Port of San Diego - San Diego, California

Leopard Sharks

In Fiscal Year 2004 there were approximately 6 million conveyance arrivals and 14 million person arrivals at the Port of San Diego. This port consists of the San Diego International Airport and air cargo facilities, the “B” Street Ship Terminal, ocean cargo docks, a naval shipyard, and several bonded warehouses and freight forwarders. This facility was built to accommodate the enormous volume of international commercial land traffic moving through the San Diego area.  The port also serves to alleviate the overflow of vehicles from the San Ysidro, CA, border crossing.
