Forest Projects

• Blue Jay Campground Scoping Letter
• Proposed Black Canyon Prescribed Burn Project
• Mesa Grande and Mendenhall Allotments Environmental Analysis Scoping Package and Maps
• National Environmental Policy Act
  NEPA provides direction for analyzing environmental effects for proposed actions. The Forest Service Manual and Handbook provide additional direction.
• Off Highway Vehicle Route Designation
• Recreation Residence Special Use Permit - Review EA
  
• Travel Management Route Designation –Review Travel Management EA
  We are asking for the public to review and provide comments on this EA which proposes changes to our existing transportation system.  These changes include adding road for highway-legal vehicles; adding trails for all types of vehicles; and adding trails for trail-class vehicles.  Our forest has been working with the public since 2006 on the OHV Route Designation process, this EA is the initial result of this effort.  We need YOUR help!>>>
• 2008 Off Highway Vehicle Grants
  The Cleveland National Forest is in the process of developing the Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Grant application for 2008.
• Palomar Ranger District's Community Defense Program - Vegetation-fuels managements projects.
• Proposed Seasonal Closures to Protect Nesting Raptors

• Recreation Facility Analysis
• Trabuco Ranger District eradication of non-native planet species proposal
  The Trabuco Ranger District proposes to eradicate non-native riparian perennial plant species on approximately 55 acres in west-facing canyons in the Santa Ana Mountains.
