GTP-Binding Proteins IG
At its inception in February of 1998, the concept was to provide an informal forum for NIH intramural researchers interested in signal transducing GTP-binding proteins to meet on a regular basis for the purpose of sharing information and resources and developing collaborations. Subsequently the groups areas of interest were expanded to include the receptors, effectors, and regulators of G protein-mediated signal transduction pathways. Currently the meetings format is for group members to present brief talks about their on going research with the intended purpose of generating constructive feedback from group members.
