Abstract	Colorados regional planning commissions and metropolitan planning organizations (MPO) prepare regional transportation plans identifying and prioritizing their long-range transportation needs based on policy guidance from Colorado Transportation Commission. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is responsible for coordinating and integrating these plans into the states long range intermodal transportation plan. This website explains the planning process and provides access to the current plan. The site also explains how Colorado residents can become involved in the planning process. The website has sections on planning at the state, regional and MPO levels with access to the guidance materials at that level and points of contact. There is also a link to the Transportaiton Commission.
