We promote system safety by administering regulations and standards for airmen, air carriers, and air agencies in these areas:
- Certification
- Surveillance
- Inspection
- Investigation
- Enforcement
Through the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam), we also promote educational outreach as a means of preventing accidents and incidents.
