LOCATION: Approximately 65 miles SE of Eugene, OR on FS Road 1980-247

ACCESS: Follow either State HWY 126 or 58 to FS Road 19 and proceed to FS Road 1980. Turn east on FS Road 1980 and proceed to FS Road 1980-247.

ELEVATION: 5,405 Feet

FURNISHINGS: Two twin beds, table, chairs, shelves for storage. No heat source, so you may wish to bring some sort of propane heater.

SEASON AVAILABLE: The normal season is from the middle of July to mid-October (depending on snow). It is not available for rental during the winter months.

STAY LIMIT: Reservations may be made for up to five (5) consecutive nights per year.

PRICE: $55.00 per night.

CHECK IN/OUT: Check in time is 2:00 PM. and check out time is 1:00 PM.

CABIN CAPACITY: Four (4) people maximum allowed

BRING: Bedding or sleeping bags are needed. Cooking equipment, utensils, etc. Propane lanterns or flashlights and extra batteries. (Propane stoves and lanterns are recommended since they create less fumes than liquid gas appliances). There is no water at the lookout so you must bring in whatever you think you will need for the duration of your stay.

SANITATION FACILITIES: An outhouse is located 50 feet from the lookout.

Area Attractions: Indian Ridge Lookout is located in the South Fork of the McKenzie River drainage. Cougar Reservoir, the West Cascades National Scenic Byway, Hidden Lake, and the Three Sisters Wilderness are all in the vicinity.
