LOCATION: 37 miles east of Sweet Home
ACCESS: From Sweet Home, travel east on Hwy 20 for 37 miles
to Lost Prairie Campground.
ELEVATION: 3,200 feet
USE: Moderate

auto, or RV sites
FACILITIES: vault toilets, handpump, tables
ACTIVITIES: camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking
DESCRIPTION & ATTRACTIONS: Lost Prairie Campground is located
along Hackleman Creek in an area of fir, spruce and Douglas fir. Nearby
are the trailheads for Cone
Peak Trail, Iron
Mountain Trail and Hackleman
Old Growth Grove. The Old
Santiam Wagon Road came through the Lost Prairie Campground and parts
of it may still be hiked.

routes, day use area
