Know about your evacuation allowances, procedures --  The Atlantic hurricane season officially runs from June 1 to November 30. There is invaluable information on the Fort Eustis Web site (http://www.eustis.army.mil/dptms/Emergency_Preparedness.asp), as well as a "Ready Army" Video on the home page addressing emergency preparedness. In the event that there is an ordered evacuation of Fort Eustis, units and organizations need to create manual Temporary Duty orders (DD Form 1610) for their military dependents and Department of Defense civilians and their families. The Garrison Resource Management Office will provide the lines of accounting for these TDY orders and provide any instructions in completing the forms.
