The Department of Interior assesses each of its component bureaus and offices on how well it is achieving its goals and meeting certain management objectives. For FY 2005, the Department looked at four main areas:
- Achieving Strategic Goals, Including Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA)
- Managing for Excellence
- Building Collaboration and Partnerships
- Meeting Other Management Objectives
