The latest data on marine fish catch, price and commerce in the United States are available in the annual report, Fisheries of the United States, 1994, compiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Marine Fisheries Service.
The report provides statistics about commercial and recreational marine fisheries that include commercial and recreational catch, prices, processing, import and export figures, seafood supply, employment and consumption.
For the first time, the report's tables are available by a fax-on-demand service. To use this service from your fax machine, call (301) 713-1415, request mailbox 200 and select document #1, "menu of choices," to be sent the list of available tables.
To obtain a hard copy of Fisheries of the United States, 1994, send your request for stock number 003-020-00166-1, along with a check or money order for $8.00 per copy, to the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402.
