Joined FERC: Interned the summer of 2002 and then started May of 2004

“I provide legal advice and recommendations in the areas of ethics, appropriations, employment, contracts, the Sunshine Act, separations of functions, ex parte, Freedom of Information Act requests, requests for Critical Energy Infrastructure Information, and other matters that arise.

I came to FERC because I was interested in pursuing a career in the public sector. I had some exposure to energy law while in law school and interned at FERC for a summer. I was specifically interested in working in FERC’s General & Administrative Law section because it involved working on a variety of issues in different areas of the law. After graduating law school I was pleased to accept an offer for full time employment. One of the reasons that I came back to FERC was because I enjoyed the friendly working environment.”
