American Institute of Architects (AIA) - Katrina Recovery Initiative
The AIA is developing an action plan to support those affected by the hurricanes.  Links include resources, correspondence and news.

American Planning Association (APA) - Hurricane Katrina APA's response to the devastation from Hurricane Katrina. Includes the report from a volunteer team of planners assembled by APA who visited New Orleans in October to assess the city's needs for developing and implementing plans to guide redevelopment, policy and legislative issues.

Katrina Issues and the Aftermath – Brookings Institute
The Brookings Institution is a private nonprofit organization that conducts independent research and proposes policy solutions.  The Institute tracks variables measuring post-Katrina reconstruction in its Katrina Index, which is available by subscription as a monthly update.  Articles on rebuilding, emergency response, the pre-Katrina context of the area, and additional resource links are also provided.
