Managment Activities

Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge is one of the newest refuges in the system and currently does not have a budget. Management activities are few. Staff from the nearby Mandalay NWR is working to mark refuge boundaries, outreach to the local community, and assessment of resident wildlife.
