These draft measures are intended to expand the range of performance measures available for use by Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grantees as part of their quality management programs. (See more information on HAB’s core clinical performance measures, Groups 1, 2, and 3 ) The new sets of draft measures were developed by a HAB workgroup representative of the various Parts of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. We would also like you tell us about any measures that are not clear and to point out any numerators or denominators that need additional information. If there are any other performance measures that should be included within these four areas, please identify those measures, including any quality of life measures that you have found useful. Additionally, indicate what technical assistance you may need to successfully incorporate these measures into your quality management Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. HAB is interested in receiving comments regarding these specific performance measures from not only Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grantees, but also from national HIV/AIDS and provider organizations and other key constituents. Comments provided to HAB on its HIV/AIDS Core Clinical Performance Measures for Adults and Adolescents were extremely valuable in the refinement of these clinical measures. We anticipate that the comments provided to HAB on these four new sets of draft performance measures will be similarly valuable in revising these measures.
