Conferences and Training
ASA's educational programs provide the highest level of training to strengthen the skills and knowledge of those working in the field of aging. Through our various conferences and educational events, ASA is committed to being the premier resource for education, training and information on aging-related issues. It carries out this commitment through programs such as the annual Aging in America Conference, the regional Conferences on Aging, and web seminars. Attendees gain a wealth of practical knowledge and ideas that they can put into practice right away to improve their business and services to older adults and their families.
The Aging in America Conference is an annual collaboration between the American Society on Aging and the National Council on the Aging. Thousands of professionals from healthcare, long-term care, social services, educational and research institutions, business and government converge to learn about cutting-edge topics, network and share resources.
The Conferences on Aging (formerly the Autumn Series on Aging) is an annual series of regional training events designed for professionals in many different sectors of society who work with older adults, their caregivers, and their families.
ASA's web seminars are affordable, convenient educational forums that are available from your home or office computer. These seminars focus on topical issues and occur throughout the year.
Continuing Education Credit (CEUs) is available from a variety of disciplines and boards for most ASA conferences and training, including:
