Veterans Benefits Counselor
A veterans benefits counselor from the Veterans Benefits Administration is assigned to the medical center to assist you in matters concerning VA benefits such as compensation, pension, government insurance, education, GI loans, vocational rehabilitation, etc.

Patient Representatives
The St. Louis VAMC has on staff highly-skilled patient representatives who are eager to help you with your concerns in a timely manner. The Patient Representatives:
- serve as liaisons between patients and the medical center
- act on the patient's behalf
- help patients understand their rights and responsibilities

Several veteran service organizations have offices located at the John Cochran Division of the St. Louis VA Medical Center. VSO offices are located on the 3rd Floor, Room A339. Representatives are available 7:00am to 2:30pm, Monday thru Friday.
