VHA MRSA Prevention Initiative VHA has made an organizational commitment to a reduction in MRSA transmission and infection despite rates that are comparable to the national average. CHERP investigators and staff worked on the initial roll-out and subsquent national launch of this system-wide quality improvement effort.
