Abstract:

This newsletter discusses the role International Medical Graduates (IMG) have in the medical industry. It describes the challenges that Critical Access Hospitals face in recruiting qualified non-IMG physicians. The newsletter also includes a discussion of how health care administrators are receptive to IMG's compared to U.S.-trained physicians, information on J-1 student visas, and the waiver process.
