From the South:
Take I-95 North to Exit 22C [Hartford, CT (RT 10)].
When you reach Providence Place mall, follow the u-turn and head westerly back to Pleasant Valley Parkway. Turn right on Pleasant Valley and at the second traffic light (Chalkstone Ave.) turn left and proceed to the main entrance of the Medical Center.
From the North:
Take I-95 South to Exit 22C (Providence Place Mall exit) bearing right to the traffic light (must turn right onto Kinsley Avenue). Follow Kinsley Avenue for .2 mile and bear left onto Promenade Street. Follow Promenade Street for .2 mile and bear right at the traffic light onto Pleasant Valley Parkway. Proceed north on Pleasant Valley Parkway through two traffic signals and turn left onto Chalkstone Avenue. Proceed .1 mile to the main entrance of the Medical Center on the left.
From I-195:
Take I-195 West to Providence and merge right on to I-95 North and follow the directions above.
Public Transportation
The Providence VA Medical Center is serviced by the Rhode Island Public Transportation Authority. Bus schedules are posted on a bulletin board adjacent to the entrance/exit in the Ambulatory Care building, with stops at the bus stop located in front of Building 2 at approximate 30 minute intervals. Local taxi cab service is available to the general public.
Facility Map and Parking Information
Patient and visitor parking is available in Parking Lots 2 and 5A. Handicapped parking is available in Lots 4 and 14.
