	The WVDP is located on the site of the only commercial nuclear fuel reprocessing plant to have operated in the United States. It is currently generating and storing mixed waste owned by the State of New York and expects to generate and store mixed waste in the future. The site is located on 3,340 acres of state-owned land approximately 30 miles southeast of Buffalo, New York.
