Researchers want to see the addition of herbal therapy can help relieve brain swelling in these patients.

3.Zactima for Recurrent or Progressive Brain Tumors (Posted: 11/28/2006) - This phase I/II trial will help scientists determine the dosage for the brain cancer drug Zactima in patients taking antiseizure medications called EIAEDs and will examine the antitumor effects of Zactima in patients not taking EIAEDs.
4.New Strategy for Treatment-Resistant Solid Tumors in Children (Posted: 06/13/2006) - This clinical trial will assess the safety of of a drug called talabostat in combination with chemotherapy in pediatric patients with cancer who have not responded to or gotten worse after other treatments.
5.Therapy for Treatment-Resistant or Recurrent Gliomas (Posted: 05/03/2005) - This trial will determine the maximum dose of CC8490 that can be given to patients and will assess the safety and tolerability of this drug. Additionally, researchers hope to determine the mechanism by which CC8490 affects glioma cells.
