U.S. Department of the Interior Minerals Management Service Gulf of Mexico OCS Region

The Minerals Management Service (MMS) is sponsoring a meeting with industry on December 9, 1997 concerning the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) of the 1/5th bid deposit.  The meeting will be at the Gulf of Mexico Regional Office in Conference Room 115, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and concluding no later than 3:30 p.m.  Registration for this meeting is not required.

While the attached agenda provides talking points that will be discussed during the December 9 meeting, the MMS is open to industry suggestions and comments.

The MMS is the Federal Agency that manages the Nation’s natural gas, oil and other mineral resources on the Outer Continental Shelf; collects, accounts for, and disburses about $4 billion in revenues each year from Federal offshore mineral leases and from onshore mineral leases on Federal and Indian lands.
